Florian Hahn is specialized in genome editing and completed his Postdoctoral research in genome engineering and CRISPR/Cas9 technology development at Rothamsted Research and the University of Oxford. He also led the Cell Engineering Division at the cultivated meat company Ivy Farm Technologies.

“I have a strong background in genome engineering, so I really see the potential of this technology for crop engineering but also the issues that come along with misinformation. I see now the need for raising a new awareness of the benefits of biotechnology, especially regarding agriculture."
